Anything can be linked to anything else. The advantage of linking things is that you will never have to search for it later. This is particularly helpful for organizing notes or for follow-ups to and reminders about Emails or Events.
There are two easy ways to do this.
Create Something New
From any item - Email, Event, Todo, Note, or Contact - swipe it left-to-right to see some of the quick actions that are available. From most items, you can create a new ToDo, Event, or Note that is then automatically linked back to the original. Here are a few examples:
Make a Note during a Meeting
Take some notes during a meeting. To do this, right-swipe the meeting in your calendar and tap on the "Note" icon. This opens an empty note. You can start composing, either from the keyboard or by dictating. When completed, the note will show up in the Notes view and as a link to the Event in your Calendar. Tapping the link inside that Note will open up the meeting in your calendar.
Make a ToDo from an Email
To make a ToDo or reminder from an Email, right-swipe on the email in the list and tap the Todo icon. You've just created a ToDo. Tap the 'link' button at the top of the Email, to view and edit that ToDo. It will also show up in your ToDo list and, if you assign a due date, it will appear in the Flo Calendar. From any of these places, when you then tap on the email in the links section of the ToDo, you can open the original Email. No need to search!
Link Stuff that's already there
From the detail view of any object - Email, Event, ToDo, Note, or a Contact Card, just tap the "links" button then search for an other item in Flo. Presto. Linked-o.
